BEAUMONT VILLAGE

Constructed for residents 55+, Beaumont Village’s interior design pays homage to the rich and rugged oil field heritage of the area. Soaring ceilings between the clubhouse’s entertaining and lounging areas are punctuated with oversized two-sided black and white images of the oil patch. The canvases not only honor the area’s history; they also mitigate sound migration from area to area. A 150-year-old reclaimed wood mantle adorns the resident lounge. Drapery rods are made from recycled pipe. Finishes are thoughtfully chosen to convey a rustic aura throughout. Even the umbrella stand—in the form of a roughneck’s boot—remembers the importance of oil to the area.
